8,1 Billion Euro funding will be available for the calls related to the FP7 working programmes for 2013 in 52 new calls. The FP7 (2007 – 2013) is the largest competitive funding programme for research, development and innovation.

The last big central call round for the FP7 – the largest European funding programme for research and development will open probably around 10 July 2012. In order to prepare project proposals in time, there are already orientation papers available for some programmes.
There will be different deadlines in autumn and winter 2012/2013.

Some programmes in the FP7 – the 7th EU Framework Program for Research (2007 – 2013) have a focus also on international cooperation. E.g. for the last call in the energy programme, we expect that some topics will focus on international cooperation with US, Japan, Australia, BRIC and MPCs (Mediterranian Partner Countries). The 7th and LAST CALL for HEALTH in the 7th Framework Programme of the EU for research and development will have a volume of 840 MIO Euro.
The orientation paper was published on 4th April 2012.
The call will be announced on the 10th July 2012.
